MITIGATION ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

Estimators/Project Managers are strong leaders with the ability to give clear direction, anticipate issues and problem solve effectively. Superior customer service skills are vital as this highly visible, customer facing position plays a critical role in the client’s overall satisfaction with the company. Estimators/Project Managers excel at working well with all divisions of the company and provide clear instructions to internal staff and sub-contractors. They are also highly skilled at managing client expectations and communicating with all parties in a professional and courteous manner.

 

Job Duties:

 

Responsible for securing new business, as well as retaining and growing current accounts.

  • Manage and share leads and new contacts with internal teams to drive sales in support of business objectives.
  • Seize opportunities with contacts and decision makers to develop new business opportunities, overcome objections to secure new jobs and reduce the volume of lost jobs.
  • Serve as an industry expert.

Handle all tasks needed to provide an accurate, detailed and profitable estimate.

  • Complete on-site inspections to prepare scope, take photos and readings, communicate with customer to properly set expectations and explain service phases and turn-around times.
  • Prepare Work Orders, schedule sub-trades if needed, and update customer and third parties frequently throughout the life cycle of the job.

Manage and oversee every aspect of a job from start to finish. Estimators/Project Managers are responsible for ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with all production, program protocol, and company standard operating procedures.

  • Create work orders throughout the life of the job.
  • Take photos and upload images to all applicable portals.
  • Consistently monitor the status of the job.
  • Maintain a clear and open line of communication throughout the entire job by proactively providing detailed information about the job status to the customer and third parties.
  • Document required moisture readings into any/all required software.
  • Check the accuracy of completed work and equipment used against the work order details.
  • Maintain a complete job file including all “non-negotiables” per company standards.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with the support of internal staff. 

Estimators/Project Managers are responsible for submitting completed job files for final invoicing with all required documentation.

  • Impressive professional etiquette displaying integrity, respect and thoughtfulness.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of industry related experience.
  • Experience using Xactimate software preferred.
  • Up-to-date industry certifications required (Company will pay for/provide training for required certifications as needed).
  • Must pass background check and have clean driving record.
